ASC: New Global Outreach Initiatives to Present the 2026–2032 Program Guidelines

(ANS – Rome – September 21, 2026) – The Association of Salesian Cooperators is experiencing a particularly significant moment in its history. As celebrations of the 150th anniversary continue and the fruits of the 6th World Congress begin to emerge, the World Council announces that, in the coming weeks, various activity proposals will be published to help the entire Association understand and embrace the Program Guidelines 2026–2032.

The new year, 2026–2027, therefore begins with a strong sense of family and a deeply synodal approach: walking together, listening to one another, discerning, and acting in communion. The initiatives being launched aim to reach every province and local center, ensuring that all Salesian Cooperators feel part of one body and a shared mission.

Zoom Events to Present the Program Guidelines

The World Council will host three online meetings, organized by language, to present the Program Guidelines and encourage direct dialogue with Salesian Cooperators worldwide. These sessions will provide an overview of the seven key areas for the six-year term, their significance, and their impact on the life of the Association.

  • Spanish and Portuguese Event – November 14, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. (UTC+1)
  • English Event – February 14, 2027, at 1:00 p.m. (UTC+1)
  • Italian Event – Date to be confirmed

Presentation Videos Produced by Young Salesian Cooperators

In keeping with the synodal and participatory approach that characterizes this moment of grace, the World Council has invited young Salesian Cooperators to prepare a series of videos presenting their vision of the Association and proposals for the six-year term.

Beginning in November, these contributions will be published progressively, offering a fresh, dynamic, and deeply Salesian perspective on the mission of the Salesian Cooperators (SSCC) today.

A Journey Intended to Reach Everyone

Through these initiatives, the World Council hopes that every Salesian Cooperator will have the opportunity to learn about, understand, and embrace the Program Guidelines 2026–2032, allowing them to become a true instrument of communion, identity, and mission.

In this jubilee year, marked by the 150th anniversary, the recent World Congress, and a strong sense of family, the Association continues moving forward in a synodal spirit. It does so with confidence that shared responsibility and participation can support increasingly vibrant and fruitful animation.
