By Victoria Figueroa, Salesian Youth Movement Coordinator –
Young people from the Salesian Province USA West joined the Breath of Life Campaign, uniting with the global Salesian Youth Movement in promoting care for our common home. Through their participation, our young people expressed their commitment to protecting creation and raising awareness about the importance of caring for the environment.

This initiative reflects the Salesian spirit of encouraging young people to become protagonists in building a better world through their faith, actions, and daily choices. The Youth Ministry Delegates of the World were encouraged by Rome to participate in this campaign. This campaign was a Tree-Planting Campaign, inspired by World Youth Day’s campaign. Our participation highlights the passion and enthusiasm of our young people, who recognize that caring for creation is a shared responsibility. Inspired by Don Bosco’s mission and united with the global SYM family, we continue to encourage young people to take action and inspire others to do the same. Together, we are reminded that caring for our common home is not just an individual effort, but a mission we share as one Salesian Youth Movement.
