Let us give a warm welcome to Ms. Victoria Figueroa, the new Secretary for the Province Youth Ministry Office

(Bellflower, California) Hello, my name is Victoria Figueroa. I am from Bellflower, CA, and my home parish is St Dominic Savio Parish. I was first introduced to the Salesians in 2018. St Dominic Savio Parish encouraged me to dive into ministry and grow closer to my faith. Through youth groups, camps, and SYLC, I grew to love the Salesian Youth Movement. I live every day inspired by the teachings of St John Bosco and the example of the incredible Salesian laity and consecrated people in our province.

I am currently an undergraduate student. I have declared Sociology as my major and am passionate about social justice and equity. Through my education and Salesian faith, I hope to become someone who inspires social change in our province.

I am very excited to join the Youth Ministry Office team as the YMO Office Secretary. I look forward to working with the Youth Ministry Office to inspire the lives of the young people in our Salesian works. I hope to be a source of accompaniment and support for youth and those who serve with them. Thank you!
