Los Angeles, California – We invite the entire Salesian family, students of Roosevelt High School, our center’s collaborators, benefactors, and friends to a special Book Release event on Friday, September 6th, from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM at our Salesian Family Youth Center.
We’ll kick off at 6:30 PM with a small reception and snacks before we begin our program.
Come celebrate the launch of “Wind Walkers,” a powerful book written by 10 Roosevelt High School students. In this collection, they share their personal journeys of overcoming challenges and adversity to become the leaders they are today. This book also offers valuable advice to their peers and young people on how to take charge of their lives and become leaders themselves.
The Salesian Family Youth Center stands as a testament to youth empowerment, giving these young authors a voice and the tools to write and publish a book based on their own ideas and emotions.
