(ANS – Chosica) – A retreat was held for lay members of the Salesian Family in Peru from August 6–9 at the El Tabor retreat house in Chosica, organized by the Saint Rose of Lima Province. More than 50 participants took part in moments of prayer inspired by the spirituality of Don Bosco.

The retreat was led by Fr. Alejandro Rodríguez Rodríguez of the Don Bosco Hall Study Center in Berkeley, California, who emphasized how the mission with young people flows from a deep spiritual life: “We cannot be mere educational technicians; we are called to be credible witnesses to the Risen Lord.”
