Youth Ministry Office Decorations
Although this Christmas season was different, the youth ministry department decorated the office to be reminded of the HOPE that Christ brings during the holidays.

Strenna 2021 Posters and Nameplates

“Moved by Hope, See I am making all things new,” is the title that the Rector Major, Fr. Angel Fernandez Artime, has chosen for the Strenna 2021. As every year this message is accompanied with a poster that graphically interprets the Strenna message and unites all Salesians around the world. The Youth Ministry Department decided to have nameplates and posters printed for the members of the Salesian family who are leaders in their respective communities of the Western Province. 

Advent Evening of Prayer

On Dec 4, there was an online Salesian Young Adult Night that was focused on Advent. The Youth Ministry Department worked collaboratively with the Salesian Youth Movement team to put this night together. There were moments of singing, interactive prayer, talks, reflection and worship. Overall, this night brought joy and hope to the young adults in our community.

World Youth Day Meeting

On Dec 10, there was a meeting to discuss plans for World Youth Youth which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal in 2023. There are plans to take a group to represent the Salesian Youth Movement of the Western Province.

RE Congress Meeting

On Dec 18, the Youth Ministry Department gathered to plan for a virtual Religious Education Congress this year. There will be a virtual booth and the plans and ideas for how this will be are currently being planned.

Salesian Family Day Preparations

On Dec 22, the Youth Ministry Department met with the Delegate for Salesian Family, Elizabeth Gamarra, to discuss promoting the Salesian Family Celebration. This virtual event will be three days from Jan.28th through Jan. 30th celebrating Don Bosco.

Province Animation Team

On Dec 23, The Province Animation Team (PAT) gathered together. The Provincial, delegates, and the coordinators of the different departments and sectors with the Youth Ministry office, discuss the structure and objectives of the team. The team also discussed plans for the Province Leadership meeting.
