Empowering Youth for a Better Future through Collaboration with Fr. Thom Pallithanam and the Salesian Western Province 

We are excited to share that JC Montenegro and I, representing the United States Western Province, are collaborating with Fr. Thomas Pallithanam, SDB, Salesian Representative to the United Nations, to participate in The Youth Forum. We are also proud to be taking a young representative from Saint Dominic Savio Parish and another young representative from the Salesian Family Youth Center to join us in this incredible opportunity.

The Youth Forum will bring together young people from diverse organizations and backgrounds to share their recommendations and innovative ideas in preparation for the SDG Summit. Through our participation in various workshops, forums, and discussions, we have gained valuable insights into critical issues related to migration, education, and child labor. Our collaboration with Fr. Thom has allowed us to contribute to the ongoing efforts in addressing these issues and advocating for the rights of those affected.

We recently had the privilege of meeting with Fr. Thom at the Provincial House in New Rochelle, where he invited us to participate in The Youth Forum. This platform provides an excellent opportunity for young people to engage in meaningful discussions and provide input on issues that affect their lives and the lives of others. As representatives of the Salesian Province, we are thrilled to be a part of this forum and contribute to its ongoing efforts to achieve the SDGs.

We believe that collaboration is crucial in addressing complex issues such as migration, education, and child labor. By working together, we can leverage our collective strengths and resources to create more significant impact and effect positive change in the lives of those affected. Our collaboration with Fr. Thom and the Salesian Province is a testament to the power of partnerships and the importance of working towards a common goal.
