(Los Angeles, California) – Seven young writers from Boyle Heights showcased their first published book at the Salesian Family Youth Center in an event featured personal stories of overcoming fears and self-doubt, highlighting the center’s role in empowering them.

Attendees reflected on the importance of supporting young people, with the writers emphasizing vulnerability and growth. The celebration reinforced the impact of mentorship and opportunity in shaping youth’s futures. This work is being done at the Salesian Family Youth Center. You are invited to read the book!
