(Bellflower, California) – On July 25, 2025, the St. John Bosco High School’s Academic Decathlon Team landed in Seoul, South Korea, to compete in the World Scholar’s Cup Global Round. This isn’t the first time the team has pursued competition at the global level and their ultimate goal is an invitation to the annual Tournament of Champions at Yale University.

With good fortune, their journey went through Seoul where the team competed with scholars from around the world. Among the Bosco scholars was Liam Bryne, a sophomore with photographic skills and an eye for the beauty and cultural riches the team encountered.
